How to Prepare a New Matcha Whisk 1. Rinse with water
Before using a new Matcha Whisk, fill a bowl with water and gently rinse the tips of the whisk so that the tines are lightly washed.

2. Pre-soak in hot water
After rinsing with water, fill the bowl with hot water and rinse the tips of the Matcha Whisk again.
Doing this step before each time you prepare matcha helps the tines open up, making it easier to whisk the tea.

After Using the Chasen
After using the Matcha Whisk, immediately rinse it by gently shaking it in a bowl filled with lukewarm water. If any residue remains, remove it carefully with your fingers.

The Matcha Whisk is delicate, so please do not use detergent or scrubbing brushes.
Do not soak it in water or hot water; wash it quickly.
After rinsing, shake off the excess water, wipe it lightly with a cloth, and allow it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded place.
Leaving it wet may cause mold, so make sure it dries thoroughly.
Once the Matcha Whisk is completely dry, store it on a Whisk stand to help maintain its shape.
Keep it in a cool, dark place with minimal temperature and humidity changes.

About Replacement A Matcha Whisk is a consumable item. With long-term use, the tips will gradually wear down or break.
If many of the tines break, please replace it with a new one.
