
Matcha Latte
The gentle aroma of matcha rises softly, blending beautifully with the creaminess of milk.
With each sip, the balance of subtle bitterness and delicate sweetness becomes wonderfully addictive.

Ingredients (1 serving)
Matcha
Hot water
Milk or plant-based milk
2 g (about 1 teaspoon)
30 ml (around 80°C)
150~200ml
Recipe
1 Add 2 g of matcha to a katakuchi matcha bowl. If you have a sifter, sift the matcha first to prevent clumps and achieve a smoother texture.
2 Pour in 30 ml of hot water and whisk with a chasen (bamboo whisk) until it becomes a smooth paste.
3 For hot latte: Transfer the whisked matcha to a cup and pour in warmed milk.
For iced latte: Add cold milk and ice to a glass, then pour the matcha over it.
4 Sweeten with sugar or honey if desired.
